And so it was that finally, we got to see the fabulous Fall Has Come live. They were justifiably the headline act and with two stunning albums behind them, they had a great catalogue from which to choose. The guys opened with ‘Cover The Sun’ and instantly the quality of musicianship was there to see. Coupled with the powerful gravelly vocal of Enrico we were set for a truly epic set. ‘It’s Over’ really ramped up the atmosphere at the venue. Hands in the air, crowd singing and just everyone having a good time.
A favourite of ours ‘Awaken’ got a run-out and is a huge track live but it’s the epic ‘Believe’ that really stole the show. This is a foot-stomping anthem that draws the crowd in. A stadium song that gets the crowd chanting. Enrico mingled amongst the crowd and at one point sat down in a circle with the fans as he sang the quieter part of the track. It was without doubt THE track with which to finish. Fall Has Come are a polished act. They all work off each other and engage the audience much more easily than their peers. There is a charisma at work and the songs are very well written. Due to time constraints, it was a short set but we will see them again in their own right soon and watch their star soar. Pure magnificence.
