Ghost Toast are an Experimental Progressive Rock band from Hungary and if that wasn’t enough for you, they are also instrumental. Now then, if you are going to put out an instrumental album it needs to be good, and well, this is. The opening track ‘Frankenstein’s’ is the most recent single and is one of the best showcases for Ghost Toast.
There is no doubting that these guys are consummate musicians especially on tracks such as ‘Y13’ ‘Hunt of Life’ and ‘Follow.’ The tracks have all been put together with a crystal clear clarity and are multi-layered. From crunching riffs, excellent solos to very beautiful orchestral arrangements this is an album that you can go to time and again. The production is meticulous. As an experimental band maybe they will try with a vocalist in the future but for now, this is excellent and more than I expected.
