‘UNMASKED EP’
Opening with ‘Book of Lies’ and we are instantly treated to searing guitar and that hard drinking, hard smoking gravelly vocal that is typical Six Sins Til Sunday. They up the ante with every release and this is right up there. Great breakdowns and very thoughtfully written. The guitar solo on this track is outstanding and it gets even better with the epic ‘Bring Out Your Dead.’ It’s a full on guitar fest and showcase.
The whole thing has been very well produced. ‘Me, Myself and Me’ is a belter but for me pick of the EP is without doubt ‘Road To Redemption.’ It is a many layered track with by far and away the best riff and melody. Rolling along with a great beat and there is a little Dark at Dawn going on which is no bad thing. The whole thing is rounded off with ‘Sold Your Soul.’ Slight nod to ‘Whole Lotta Rosie’ with the style of the opening but still an excellent track. The guys have done very well with this and should propel them to greater heights. Loved it.
